Do you truly love your current vocation?
I was going over chapter 6 in Napoleon Hill’s book “Thing and Grow Rich” titled Organized Planning. In it, he lists the thirty major causes of failure.
Number 19 on his list is “wrong selection of a vocation.” He states:
“No man can succeed in a line of endeavor which he does not like. The most essential step in the marketing of personal services is that of selecting an occupation into which you can throw yourself wholeheartedly.”
So look at your current line of work and determine if it meets these criteria. If not, it may be time for you to change vocations.
You may be able to get into a line of work that did not even exist when you chose your first vocation.
Remember the world around you is constantly changing. If you want to succeed you have to remain flexible and be willing to change with it.
